Glitzburgh Glam: Mila Kunis is the (gorgeous!) New Face of Christian Dior

The beautiful Mila Kunis is the newest face of Christian Dior, one of the most elegant and trusted names in fashion.

Her exquisite first ads will be for the Miss Dior handbag and were shot by renowned photographer Mikael Jansson. They’ll debut internationally in Asian and European editions of Vogue, Elle, and Madame Figaro in mid-January, with appearances in US media towards the end of the month. Kunis is joining a long list of fabulous celebrities to represent the luxury brand. Other faces of Dior include Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Sophie Marceau, Jude Law, Eva Green, and Sharon Stone. Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor was also a huge fan of Dior dresses and fragrance.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior,” Mila Kunis said in a statement. “The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication.”

So true. And for that, Kunis is a perfect fit with her sexy yet classic look.

Season 5 of MTV’s Jersey Shore premieres tonight.

Twitter is abuzz with anticipation of the wildly popular reality show returning for its newest season.

In other Jersey Shore news, the next season is reportedly going to be filmed in SOUTH AFRICA!

Also — cast member Deena Nicole will be making an appearance here in Pittsburgh at World of Wheels on Saturday, January 28th, 2012 from 1pm-5pm.

The World of Wheels will be held at the David L. Lawrence Center in Pittsburgh on January 27-29.

Hopefully, Deena is on her best behavior….

Psssttt…rumor has it that Snooki may be getting her own spin-off. That being said, other Jersey Shore cast members have also been rumored to be involved in spinoff projects; but none yet have ever come to fruition.

Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel Both Getting Divorced

I always thought that there was a slight chance that Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel were the same person, or, at the very least, separated from birth.

And then, they both announced divorces from their respective husbands (Russell Brand and Ben Gibbard) within days of one another.

Conspiracy?

(All kidding aside – they do look A LOT alike. LOL.)

When it comes to Lady Gaga, it’s impossible to be shocked by her outfits. After all, she did strut the stage is an outfit made of raw meat, and nothing can beat that on the shock meter. It seems this year she has been voted at the top and the bottom of the outfit pole. Sometimes she’s put together and fashionable, and other times she’s, well, covered in meat. Here’s the best and worst of Lady Gaga:

Worst:

Lady Gaga definitely has more good outfits than bad, and her unique sense of fashion is changing the industry. Who knows, maybe the fashion of 2012 will include studded platforms, and meat dresses. Fashion is an ever changing world.

As we all know, holiday parties require a lot of preparation, and the nails are just a small part. Try this easy-to-do nail idea to save you time, money, and keep you glamorous for the holidays!

Step 1: Base coat.

Always start with a strengthening base coat. This helps the polish last longer, and it protects your nails.

Step 2: Shimmery red polish.

Use Two even coats of your favorite red nail polish, and let dry.

Step 3: White stripes.

Using a thin white nail design paint. Paint white stripes evenly across all the nails and let dry.

Step 4: Top coat.

Finally, paint the top coat over top to protect your nails and help keep the polish on. `

Sport these nails to all of the holiday parties this year, and you’ll make all your friends jealous.

Candlelight Prayer Vigil for Missing Bridgeville Man Jimmy Slack

Tonight, December 22nd, 2011, a Prayer Vigil will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Bridgeville, PA. The service will be an outdoors candlelight vigil, weather permitting, and will honor Jimmy Slack, age 25, who has been missing for 2 weeks.

Slack is from Bridgeville, and went missing on December 6th, 2011 after a String Cheese Incident concert at Stage AE in the North Shore.

The prayer vigil is to gather together to pray for his safe return, to offer the family support, and to keep hope and faith present in a difficult situation.

We hope that he will be found safe and sound, and that he will be home as soon as possible.

Bebe. While, yes, it’s a mall store, it definitely is a mall store with a whole lot of style, while still being affordable — and this is exactly why it appeals to so many. Unfortunately, as of late, they’ve become more well-known for their “comfy” clothing and animal-print clubwear than their more chic and sophisticated pieces. This is why they are re-branding and launching an upscale bridal line come March 2012. The line will feature “dramatic yet tasteful” silhouettes for the modern bride.

“Project Runway” runner-up and fan favorite Rami Kashou will be at the head of Bebe’s bridal collection. Another bonus? The price. With today’s economy, brides-to-be are trying to scrimp and save where they can. No one wants to get a sub-par bridal gown, but lately many budget-friendly AND nice wedding gowns have hit the market, as evidenced by Disney’s Princess collection, as well as the Vera Wang for David’s Bridal collection, replicas of the Kate Middleton / Alexander McQueen dream gown, and even a replica of Twilight Breaking Dawn’s Bella Swan gown for Alfred Angelo. (Which was, BTW, to die for! – - Pardon the pun.)

Bebe will just be the next step in affordable bridal wear, falling right in line with Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters’ launch of BHLDN and the brands listed above.

Lady Gaga just announced that, in the spirit of the holiday season, she will give her “Little Monsters” a present this Christmas Day.

So, what does the Mother Monster have in store for you as she plays Santa this year?

On Christmas, Gaga will “leak” a previously unreleased song off of her wildly popular hit album, Born This Way.

The track — a gift to all of her fans — was written and recorded on her tour bus, and will be released, unedited, in its entirety, and in its rawest form.

So, get ready, Gaga fans — just another reason to count down to Christmas morning!

Just saw this on the 96.1 KISS website. These are the Steelers “Super Bowl Champion” shirts that “would have been” had we won the Super Bowl last year. However, fret not — they’re going to be used for a good cause. These shirts will be sent to countries in need by an organization called World Vision. That’s the way to spread the holiday spirit! And, that’s OK, let’s just win THIS year so we can have even cooler shirts GO STEELERS!
