New Pittsburgh Public Market Celebrates Grand Opening Weekend in the Strip

10 Sep

Today is the grand opening of the Pittsburgh Public Market in the Strip District.

Located between 16th and 17th Streets on Smallman Street in the Strip, this Public Market is open from 9am-7pm on Fridays, 9am-5pm on Saturdays, and 10am-4pm on Sundays, and features locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, handmade crafts, unique  vendors and gift items, other artisans’ specialties, and more. It’s a local, old-fashioned and nostalgic marketplace,  right in the heart of Pittsburgh!

The Grand Opening festivities are this weekend and you can check out the schedule on their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/notes/pittsburgh-public-market/grand-opening-schedule/155720904454265

Sounds like another gem to add to the list of Pittsburgh’s hidden treasures!

Looking for other great events this weekend? Also don’t forget about the Pittsburgh Air Show and the Steelers Home Opener at Heinz Field on Sunday!
