So You Think You Can Dance, Miranda Maleski?

16 Jun

Miranda Maleski, 19, is a native of Plum, now living in Los Angeles and competing in FOX’s hit dance competition show, “So You Think You Can Dance”

In addition to making it to the SYTYCD Top 20, she performed as the solo ballerina in a Kanye West number at the Coachella music festival.

Most recently, Miranda Maleski and partner Robert Taylor danced a high-spirited Jive by Jason Gilkison. During a rehearsal, Miranda laughed over the fact that during their dance, she was going to be playing the role of the unapproachable girl who catches fellow contestant Robert’s eye stating that she,  “likes being sexy,” but is “really not that good at it.”

Her bio on the official FOX So You Think You Can Dance website states that her expertise is in Contemporary dance, and labeled her hometown of Pittsburgh.

Good luck, Miranda!
