Lady GaGa Sells Out Pittsburgh in Record Time! Under 2 Minutes!

10 Apr

Pop-sensation and all around fierce-and-fabulous Lady GaGa has sold out Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center in record time!

Local Pittsburgh news stations – and Gaga’s BFF / Celebrity Gossip Guru, blogger Perez Hilton – reported yesterday that GaGa sold out the new Pittsburgh venue for her September 5th show in under 2 minutes! That’s about 19,000 seats! Tickets went on sale at 10:00am EST and were gone by 10:02.

Tickets are now going for $1500 on ticket brokering websites such as StubHub.com. Many fans are disappointed that they didn’t get tickets. (I, personally, know about 8 people who tried from 9:55 a.m. all the way until 11am – phone and Ticketmaster.com – with no luck at all.) Hopefully, more seats will be released closer to the show, or, GaGa’s “Little Monsters” will SOMEHOW, some way, be able to find tickets on eBay, Craigslist, and the like at a lower rate.

If anyone wants to hook ME up with tickets…..let me know 😉

Gaga for GaGa! Pittsburgh Monster Ball Tickets on Sale Tomorrow!

8 Apr

Tickets for Lady Gaga’s much-buzzed-about “Monster Ball” Tour go on sale for Pittsburgh TOMORROW, April 9th, 2010.

You can get them from Ticketmaster at 10am – but, be forewarned: it is definitely a hot ticket. Shows in other cities have sold out in 20 minutes or less, and the better the seats, the heftier the pricetag.

However, according to fans and critics alike, it is WELL worth it.(Of course, as a Gaga superfan, I MAY be slightly biased…but hey, I’m just telling you what just about every review I’ve read has said, too!) The show is apparently a spectacle to beheld, like anything Gaga does. It entails many costume changes, dancing, elaborate sets, a complete musical storyline, a pop-art, avant-garde, haute-couture, in-your-face undertone, and, unlike many of her peers and predecessors, LIVE singing!

No lip-synching from this gal.

While Britney’s 2009 “Circus” was definitely one of the biggest and most over-the-top concerts in recent memory, her sexy dance moves, catchy tunes, superstardom, and cutesy costumes can’t make up for one thing and that is actual raw, live, amazing vocal performances.

Lady Gaga’s concert will be the first in the new Consol Energy Center. Today marked the last regular-season home game for the Pittsburgh Penguins at the soon-to-be-defunct Mellon Arena.

Will YOU be getting tickets tomorrow? Let me know! And, GOOD LUCK, “Little Monsters!”
