The Humanitarian Artists of Pittsburgh will host the “Faces and Places of the Black & Gold” event that will benefit the Homeless Children’s Education fund of Pittsburgh.

This family-friendly event is open to all fans of the Black & Gold, and will take places from 3pm-8pm at the Zappala College Center of LaRoche College in McCandless.

Guests will include Pittsburgh Steelers, Rocky Bleier, Franco Harris, John ‘Frenchy’ Fuqua, James Farrior, Nick Eason, Ted Toles (Pittsburgh Crawfords Negro Baseball League), along with keynote speaker, Senator Jane Clare Orie.

The Humanitarian Artists of Pittsburgh is a foundation that wishes to generate funds for local & regional non-profit charities in Pittsburgh and throughout western Pennsylvania.  At the event, the 4 artists that make up the coalition – Larry Klukaszewski (New Kensington, PA), Willie Hobbs (Butler, PA), Denny Karchner (formerly of Clearfield, PA) and, Charles Ott of Pittsburgh (“Steel City Artist) will be auctioning off their original and fine art prints that they hope greatly benefit the Homeless Children’s Fund of Pittsburgh. The mission of their foundation is to help as many organizations as possible to continue to fulfill their missions, starting with this one!

So come one, come all, and support this great cause! Join other Pittsburghers, art collectors with discriminating taste, fellow do-gooders, and, of course, prominent guests such as Pittsburgh athletes and other public figures.

Come enjoy yourselves for a lovely afternoon surrounded by beautiful pieces of Pittsburgh-centric art, legendary athletes, friends, and family …… and be sure to spread the word, too!
